Library Bookcase
This Library Bookcase has four intelligent RFID shelves which are about 1 meter wide. The software installed in the bookcase automatically and continuously scans all shelves for the insertion of books. When it finds a book that has just been returned by the lender it automatically checks-in the book in your Library Management System.
Quick and Easy
Returning an item does not take more than just placing one or more books on the trolley. Anywhere. That’s it. No more queues, no more waiting in line.
Automatic sorting
The Library bookcase can verify that books are inserted on the right shelf. Borrowers returning books on the wrong shelf are warned by an error message and can even be told what the right shelf is.
Security
For all items that are returned in the Library bookcase, security is automatically switched on. This way, if somebody takes the item from the bookcase after it has been returned, the Nedap security gates will sound an alarm.
