With BiblioCheck NEXT we introduce a new generation in Librix software. We provide you with the freedom to change user interfaces, workflow settings and send Email-tickets to your patrons. These are now standard features in BiblioCheck NEXT.
Reflect your identity
As we always say, no library is alike and neither are its patrons. Although we provide a selection of skins and layouts that have been developed in close cooperation with the University of Twente, we understand that some libraries want their self-service user screens to reflect their identity. Therefore, with Bibliocheck NEXT you can change backgrounds very easily. Additionally, with HTML you are also free to change the complete layout such as texts, backgrounds and color schemes. Furthermore, with our standard settings you can decide to show patron names, patron identifiers, debts and other SIP2 defined fields.
Email notifications
As we have found throughout the years, providing tickets after ending a check-out or check-in session is not always an optimal solution. Printers run out of printing paper and tickets get lost. In our opinion, this is not very user-friendly and does not fit in the digital age very well. Therefore, for Library Management Systems that support email functionality, BiblioCheck NEXT provides an emailing service which lets you send emails to patrons after lending items, returning items and paying debts. Just like is the case with tickets, with a simple editing tool, you are free to change the layout of these tickets and decide which informationyou want on the email that is sent. The same email service allows our Autosorts to send you an email notifying you when one of your sorters has a full bin. Additionally, you can also receive emails when reserved items or other items which require s pecial attention, are returned. This way, you are always up-to-date and can make sure that you remain in control of your library logistics.

BiblioCheck NEXT is the only platform in the industry that supports multiple RFID solutions for libraries. This implies that when functionality is added that might be developed for a specific application, it can also immediately made available for others. Therefore, if you enableour business partners to do so, as soon as you have received your periodical software update, you also benefit from these developments. Patron cards
With BiblioCheck NEXT you can choose to have the patron identify him/herself with Barcode cards, Magnetic cards, Nedap ID cards, Belgium EID contact cards and Mifare cards.
